The mask time is set to 52ms from the factory. This is to avoid "splatting"
with the kick drum. To reduce the mask time of the kick trigger, do the
following:
1) Press EDIT.
2) CURSOR to PATCH and press ENTER.
3) CURSOR to TRIG and press ENTER.
4) CURSOR to the lower left corner of the display and use the DATA DIAL to
select MASK TIME.
5) Strike either KD-7 and reduce the mask time to 20ms or less.
