The BR-1180/1180CDs mixer provides a two-band equalizer (EQ) for each track which allows you to adjust the tone of the low-frequency and high-frequency ranges. Use the following procedure to access the BR-1180/CD's EQ function:
1. Press [EQ]. The equalizer settings screen is displayed.
EQ On/Off
(value range: OFF, ON)
This parameter turns the equalizer effect on/off.
Low Gain
(value range: -12 to +12 dB)
This sets the gain (-12 to +12 dB) for the low-range equalizer (shelving type).
Low Freq
(value range: 40 Hz to 1.5 kHz)
This sets the center frequency (40Hz to 1.5 kHz) for the low-range equalizer (shelving type).
High Gain
(value range: -12 to +12 dB)
This sets the gain (-12 to +12 dB) for the high-range equalizer (shelving type).
High Freq
(value range: 500 Hz to 18.0 kHz)
This sets the center frequency (500 Hz to 18 kHz) for the high-range equalizer (shelving type).
2. Press CURSOR UP or DOWN to select the parameter.
3. Rotate the TIME/VALUE dial to change the settings.
4. Press EXIT to return to the top screen.
