The External Send and Return Loop can be used to insert an external effects processor. Use the following procedure to activate the external Send and Return Loop:
1. Select a USER patch.
2. Press the OVERDRIVE/DISTORTION button once or twice so it is lit. (not flashing)
3. Press PARAMETER RIGHT to display "Ovrdrive/Dst Type."
4. Turn the PATCH/VALUE dial clockwise to select "External."
5. Press WRITE twice to save the settings to the USER patch.
