You can assign the sliders on the JV-80, JV-90, and JV-1000 keyboards to
transmit MIDI volume or pan messages. If you record and then playback these
messages with your MIDI sequencer, the levels and panning will change in
realtime just as they did when you moved the sliders. Make sure your keyboard
is in Performance Mode and use the following procedure to assign the sliders to
transmit volume or pan messages:
1) Press TX VOLUME.
2) Adjust the sliders as desired. They will transmit MIDI volume (controller
7) messages.
3) Press TX PAN.
4) Adjust the sliders as desired. They will transmit MIDI pan (controller 10)
messages.
5) Press LEVEL to return to the play mode.
NOTE: The levels on the display will not change, because they reflect Part
levels, not MIDI volume settings.
