When a Patch is used in the Multitimbre or a Performance mode it may not always sound the same as it does in the Patch mode. Use the following procedure to make a Patch sound the same when in the Performance mode:
First let's create an initialized Performance:
- Press MODE and use the VALUE dial to select "PERFORMANCE".
- Press 8 "SELECT".
- Press MENU and use the VALUE dial to select "PERFORMANCE EDIT".
- Press 8 "SELECT".
- Press 7 "INIT".
- Use the VALUE dial to select TYPE "DEFAULT".
- Press 8 "EXECUTE".
Now let's make settings so a Patch will sound the same in this Performance:
- CURSOR to the left column and then CURSOR to "Effects".
- CURSOR right to highlight Src: MFX-A "MLT" and use the VALUE dial to select "P1".
- CURSOR right to highlight CHO "MLT" and use the VALUE dial to select "P1".
- CURSOR right to highlight REV "MLT" and use the VALUE dial to select "P1".
- CURSOR left 3 times and down 3 times to highlight the "0" to the left of "Chorus".
- Use the VALUE dial to change the value to "127".
- CURSOR down to highlight the "0" to the left of "Reverb".
- Use the VALUE dial to change the value to "127".
- Press 6 "Write".
- Use the VALUE dial to select a USER memory location.
Note: This will replace the PERFORMANCE presently stored in that location. - Press 8 "Execute".
- Press 8 "OK".
- Press EXIT to return to the main Performance menu.
- Use the VALUE dial to listen to various Patches.
Note: All the Part 1 PATCH MFX settings, CHORUS settings and REVERB settings will now automatically copy into the PERFORMANCE.
