You can restore only the Preset Patches or initialize all settings on the Roland GR-09.
The following items can be initialized:
- Preset Patches in Groups A and B
- All Patch parameters
- All System parameters
Initializing all settings erases all data you have created. Before proceeding, save any data you want to keep to a MIDI sequencer or write down the panel settings.
Note: Restoring only the Preset Patches initializes Groups A and B. Patch Groups C and D and the System parameters are not affected. If Groups A or B contain patches you want to keep, move them to Group C or D before proceeding.
- Turn off the GR-09.
- While holding down Pedal 2, turn on the GR-09.
“PAt.” appears in the display. - Select the settings you want to restore:
- Preset Patches in Groups A and B only: Proceed to step 4.
- All Patch and System parameters: Press [+].
“ini.” appears in the display.
- Press [EDIT/PLAY].
“Ent.” appears in the display, and the selected settings are initialized.
When initialization is complete, the GR-09 automatically returns to Play mode and is ready for normal operation.
