Before installing a VS8F-3 expansion board you must do the following:
- Backup any songs on your hard drive.
- Perform a Drive Initialize on the hard drive with physical format on.
- Update to at least the following systems:
VS-1680 Version 2.5 or higher
VS-1880 Version 1.5 or higher
VS-1824 version 1.5 or higher - Perform a Quick Format (Drive Initialize with physical format off)
Now you are ready to install your VS8F-3.
