The TRANSPOSE feature allows you to play a song in any key without changing your fingering. You can easily accompany another singer or musician in any key of their choosing. Use the following steps to transpose a song's key:
- Press the TRANSPOSE [
] button to transpose the DisCover 5 down by up to 6 semitones.
- Press the TRANSPOSE [
] button to transpose the DisCover 5 up by up to 5 semi-tones.
Transposition never applies to M.Drums part (or the drum part of a song).
Example:
- To transpose from the key of C to E, press [
- To transpose from C to G, press [
Be sure to return to the original setting (no transposition) by simultaneously pressing [] and [
].
As long as the interval is different from “0”, one of these buttons lights to signal that the Transpose function is active.
