E-09: Splitting the Keyboard

Use the following procedure to split the keyboard:

1. Press SPLIT so it is lit.

2. Press TONE so it is lit.

3. Use the FAMILY cursor buttons to select a tone group for the right hand part.

4. Use the SELECT buttons to select a tone for the right hand part.

5. Hold down SPLIT, and use the FAMILY buttons to select a
tone group for the left hand part.

6. Hold down SPLIT, and use the SELECT buttons to select a
tone for the left hand part.

NOTE: To adjust the volume of the right hand part, hold down TONE and use the BALANCE cursor buttons. To adjust the volume of the left hand part, hold down SPLIT and use the BALANCE cursor buttons.

NOTE: You can't select a drum set for the split part.
