You can specify whether currently sounding notes on the JUNO-G will continue sounding when another patch or rhythm set is selected (ON), or not (OFF). Also, when this is “ON,” changes produced by incoming MIDI messages such as Volume or Pan (CC 5, 7, 10, 65, 68, 71–74, RPN 0, 1, 2, MONO ON, POLY ON), as well as tonal quality and volume changes produced by the various controllers will be inherited.
Follow the steps below:
- Press MENU, select "2. System", and press ENTER.
- Press F1 (General).
- Press F1 (Common).
- Cursor down to the Patch Remain parameter and turn it On.
- Press F6 (Write).
Note that the while a patch will continue to sound even after selecting a new patch, there may be a little glitch. This is due to the effects processor switching to best complement the new patch. To make the Patch Remain feature perfectly seamless, you must disable all effects for any patches you wish to switch to/from.
