"Recover" copies the project from the CD to the drive (partition) that is currently loaded. To recover a backup, follow these steps:
1. Hold down SHIFT and press the F1[Project] button.
2. Insert the CD containing the backup into the CD-R/RW drive.
3. Cursor down in the Project List until the box is around the "ATAPI:CD-RW".
4. Press the F6 button for "List".
5. The message will be displayed, "Change Current Drive to ATAPI, Sure?", press the ENTER[YES] button to continue.
6. The message will be displayed, "Store Current?", press the ENTER[YES] button to continue.
7. Cursor to the desired project and press F6 to mark it.
8. If "Recovr" isn't visible above F2, press PAGE until it is.
9. Select the F2 button for recover and that will bring up the Project Recover screen.
10. Cursor down to the CD Speed box and turn it to "Max". If you experience any problems, use a slower speed.
11. Press F5 to select "OK" and begin the recover process.
12. The message will be displayed, "CD-R Recover, Sure?", press the ENTER[YES] button to continue.
13. The message will be displayed, "Store Current?", press the ENTER[YES] button to continue. Press the EXIT[NO] button to cancel.
Note: If the back up is larger than a single disk, the VS-2000CD asks for the additional disks as needed.
