The MIX IN input on the TD-20/TD-12 can be used to connect an external CD player/ mp3 player:
1. With a stereo 1/8" - 1/4" cable, connect the 1/8" end to your CD/mp3 player's headphone output.
2. Connect the opposite 1/4" end to the MIX IN input on the back panel of the TD-20/TD-12.
Increase the headphone volume level on the player.
Turn the MIX IN knob as well as the MASTER knob on the TD-20 / TD-12 to adjust the volume level.
