V-Bass: How do I restore the factory settings?

You can perform a Factory Reset on the Roland V-Bass to restore all settings or a specified range of settings to their factory defaults.

1. Turn off the power.
2. While holding down [PAGE ◀] and [PAGE ▶], turn on the power.
   The FACTORY RESET screen appears.
3. Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to “START,” and turn the PATCH/VALUE dial to select the beginning of the range you want to initialize.
4. Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to “END,” and turn the PATCH/VALUE dial to select the end of the range you want to initialize.
5. You can select the following ranges:
   • SYSTEM: System parameters
   • #1-1–#25-4: Settings for patch numbers 1-1 through 25-4

6. Press [WRITE].
   “ARE YOU SURE?” appears in the display.

   To cancel the Factory Reset, press [EXIT]. The V-Bass returns to its normal power-on state.

7. Press [WRITE] again to execute the Factory Reset.
   The specified range of settings is initialized, and the V-Bass returns to its normal power-on state.
