It's important to choose the appropriate Output Selection so it matches as close as possible to what the GR-55 is connected to. For example, if you have the GR-55 connected to a PA system, you would choose "LINE/PHONES." Use the following steps to set the Output Select:
1. Press EDIT.
2. Press the PAGE right button to choose the SYSTEM tab.
3. Turn the big dial to highlight the OUTPUT SELECT icon.
4. Press ENTER.
5. Turn the dial to choose the desired Output Select type:
LINE/PHONES - Headphones, or a mixer, recorder input or amp
JC-120 - Roland JC-120 amp's input
SMALL - Small or practice guitar amp's input
COMBO - Combo amp's input
STACK - Stack amp's input
JC-120 RETURN - The effects return jack on a JC-120
COMBO RETURN - The effects return jack of a combo amp
STACK RETURN - The effects return jack of a stack amp
B-AMP WITH TWEETER - Choose this setting when connected to a bass amp that has a tweeter.
B-AMP NO TWEETER - Choose this setting when connected to a bass amp with no tweeter.
6. Press EXIT when you're finished. The new setting is saved automatically.
