Sync Mode settings determine how the internal sequencer will function and how
MIDI clock messages will be transmitted and received.
INT: The Internal sequencer will operate using its own internal tempo clock and
transmit MIDI clock messages.
SLAVE: The Internal sequencer will synchronize to MIDI clock.
REMOTE: The Internal sequencer will operate using its own internal tempo clock
and transmit MIDI clock messages. However, START/STOP messages from an external
MIDI device will START/STOP the Internal sequencer.
Use the following procedure to choose the MIDI sync mode for the MC-303:
1) Hold SHIFT and press SYSTEM[keyboard pad 16] to access the System Setting
display.
2) Use the SELECT < > cursor buttons to select SY1.
3) Use the VALUE dial to choose: int (internal), SLv (Slave) or rEt (Remote)
as shown in the NEXT display.
4) Press EXIT.
Use the following procedure to transmit MIDI sync messages from the MC-303:
1) Hold SHIFT and press SYSTEM[keyboard pad 16] to access the System Setting
display.
2) Use the SELECT < > cursor buttons to select SY2.
3) Use the VALUE dial so ON is shown in the NEXT display.
4) Press EXIT.
When this parameter is set to ON, MIDI clock and Start/Stop/Continue messages
will be transmitted from the MIDI OUT of the MC-303.
MIDI clock messages will be transmitted and received.
INT: The Internal sequencer will operate using its own internal tempo clock and
