Force initializing the hard drive is usually performed as a last resort to
accessing the drives. Force Initializing will totally format SCSI drive A. Use
the following procedure:
1) Ensure the unit is turned off.
2) Hold the purple SHIFT button and MARKER 1 while turning on the Power button.
3) Press EXECUTE to continue the forced initialization.
4) Initialize SCSI B once SCSI A has been initialized.
