Active Sensing is a MIDI message that provides a warning when a cable has been
disconnected, or MIDI communications have been otherwise interrupted. However,
Active Sensing can cause certain MIDI interfaces to constantly light, and
therefore you may want to disable it. Use the following procedure to turn off
Active Sensing on the JX-8P:
1) Press EDIT MIDI.
2) Select function 25 using the Tone Selector buttons.
3) Use the EDIT KNOB to select OFF.
