The MC-505 allows you to insert tempo changes into a pattern.
These changes, called tempo events, must be inserted in the Mute Control track.
Use the following procedure to insert tempo events:
1) Press MODE so PTN is lit.
2) Press PTN/SONG so it is lit.
3) Use the VALUE dial to select a pattern for editing.
4) Press REC twice.
5) Press PART SELECT so it is lit.
6) Press MUTE CTRL so it is lit.
7) While holding SHIFT, use the VALUE dial to select the desired insertion
point.
8) Press WRITE.
9) Use the VALUE dial to display "Tempo."
10) Press ENTER.
11) Use the VALUE dial to display the desired tempo.
12) Press ENTER.
13) Press STOP.
