The XP-10 has a Local Control setting which determines whether or not the
keyboard triggers the internal sound source. If the XP-10 is used with a
sequencer that has "soft thru" turned on, Local Control should be turned off to
avoid double triggered notes. Use the following procedure to turn Local Control
off:
1) Press EDIT so it is lit.
2) Use the VALUE [+ / -] buttons to display "System Setup".
3) Press ENTER.
4) Press numeric key 7 repeatedly to display "SYSTEM MIDI Local: On."
5) Use the VALUE [+ / -] buttons to display "OFF."
6) Press EDIT.
