To return the VG-8 settings or patches to their factory default state, perform the initialization procedure described below.
Initializing the VG-8 resets the selected settings to their factory default values. Any existing data in the selected area will be lost. Be sure to back up any important settings or patch data before proceeding.
When All Patches or System Parameters and All Patches is selected, both the patch parameters and patch order will be restored to their original factory settings.
- Turn off the power.
- While holding down [F1], [F3], and [F5], turn on the power.
The Memory Initialize screen appears. Use the function buttons to select what you initialize.
If you want to cancel it, turn off the power.- [F2] (SYSTEM)
- [F4] (PATCH)
- [F6] (ALL)
When initialization is completed, the message "Completed" appears.
