Level and panning are key pad edits and must be completed before a pattern is
recorded. The edits become part of the pattern and cannot be changed after the
pattern is recorded. To change a drum level or pan position in a pattern the
part must first be deleted from the pattern, its pad parameters edited and,
finally, the part re-recorded back into the pattern
