XP-50: Duplicating Effects Settings of a Patch in Performance Mode

Use the following procedure to duplicate the Effects settings of a Patch in
Performance Mode:

1) Press PERFORM, then select PR-A:12 is a good choice.
2) Press EDIT so it is lit, then press the TONE SWITCH button above PART
(4/12).
3) Press PALETTE so it is lit, then use the CURSOR buttons to select the
desired Part.
4) Use the CURSOR buttons to select the PATCH GROUP page and select the
desired Patch Group.
5) Use the CURSOR buttons to select the PATCH NUMBER page and select desired
Patch Number.
6) Cursor down to LEVEL and dial 127.

Note: This is only necessary if you want the Patch to be the same volume as
when in Patch Mode.

7) Press DISK/UTILITY. On the ten-key pad, press 4 (SOUND), then 1 (COPY).
8) Use the CURSOR buttons to select PERFORM FX COPY page.
9) Use the CURSOR buttons to select SOURCE, dial PATCH, then cursor right to
NUMBER.
10) Choose Patch Group (SHIFT + desired Group button), then dial Patch Number.
11) Press ENTER (window says COMPLETE).
12) Press EXIT three times, and press the TONE SWITCH button above EFFECTS.
13) CURSOR UP to OUTPUT ASSIGN page, dial PAT.
14) CURSOR DOWN to OUTPUT LEVEL page, dial 127.
15) CURSOR DOWN to CHORUS SEND page, dial 127.
16) CURSOR DOWN to REVERB SEND page, dial 127.
17) CURSOR DOWN to EFX TYPE, then CURSOR RIGHT to SOURCE. Dial PERFORM.

(To store these settings, press DISK/UTILITY, press 1 on the ten-key pad,
select a location and press ENTER. If Write Protect is ON, dial OFF, then ENTER
two times.)
