To trigger a phrase to playback you must first enable PHRASE PAD PLAY for each track you wish to trigger.
1-Press the CHANNEL EDIT button for a track that you want
to trigger, and turn PHRASE PAD "ON"
2-Also select how you want it to be triggered by selecting
either GATE, TRIGGER, or ONE-SHOT.
3-Goto the CHANNEL EDIT screen for any track you want to
enable PHRASE PAD PLAY and repeat steps 2 & 3.
4-Press the main PHRASE PAD PLAY button above the master
fader so that it light green.
5-Then press the STATUS/PHRASE PAD button directly above
the fader for the track you want to trigger. The tracks
that you have turn PHRASE PAD PLAY on for will light
ORANGE to let you know they are able to be triggered
when you press them.
6-To turn off PHRASE PAD PLAY to arm tracks for recording
or normal functions, just press the main PHRASE PAD PLAY
button which globally turns off that feature until you
turn it back on. The Tracks will remain on, but will
not trigger without the PHRASE PAD PLAY enabled and lit
green.
