The SDE-330 has a collection of delay type effects which allow you to place the
signal within a 3-D field. You can literally hear the delays swirling around
your head. In a 3D algorithm it is possible to assign each delay in a 360
degree panning field around your head. This parameter is called Azimuth. Some
of the delay algorithms also have a parameter called Elevation which allows you
to set the delay in a 60 degree field up and down. The technology used to
create this amazing effect has filtered down from the Roland Sound Space RSS
System which is no longer available.
