The G-1000 allows you to save your favorite settings in Performance Memories. A
Performance Memory includes settings for Tone selections, Music Style, tempo,
transpose, and volume. There are 192 Performance Memory locations in the
G-1000. Use the following procedure to write your settings in a Performance
Memory:
1) Press and hold down WRITE. Continue holding down this button while
executing steps 2-4.
NOTE: If the G-1000s memory is protected, "Internal Memory is PROTECTED!!"
will be displayed following step 1. To disable protection, release the WRITE
button and press Part Select [UPPER 1]. Return to step 1 to continue the
writing procedure.
2) Using the TONE / PERFORMANCE GROUP buttons, select a destination GROUP (A,
B, or C).
3) Using the TONE / PERFORMANCE number buttons (1-8), select a destination
BANK.
4) Using the TONE / PERFORMANCE number buttons (1-8), select a destination
NUMBER.
5) Release WRITE.
