It's important to choose the appropriate Output Selection so it matches as close as possible to what the GT-6 is connected to. For example, if you have the GT-6 connected to a PA system, you would choose "LINE/(PA)." Use the following steps to set the Output Select:
1. Press OUTPUT SELECT so it's lit.
2. Turn the PATCH/VALUE dial to select the type of device connected to the GT-6 OUTPUT jack.
JC-120: When connected with a Roland JC-120 amp.
SMALL AMP: When connected with a small or "practice" guitar amp.
COMBO AMP: When connected to a Combo Amp.
STACK AMP: When connected to a Stack Amp.
COMBO AMP: When connected to a Combo Amp return.
STACK RETURN: When connected to the return on a stack amp.
LINE/PHONES: When connected to headphones, MIXER, or recording device.
LINE (PA). When connected to a Mixer, or PA system.
3. When finished, press EXIT.
