Use the following steps to format a Smart Media card in the JS-5.
Caution: The format process deletes any saved data that is on the card. Be sure to back up any data you wish to keep.
- Turn on the power of the JS-5.
- Insert the Smart Media Card to be formatted.
- Press the UTILITY button.
- Press the CURSOR Right or Left (<>)buttons to select "12 MEMORY CARD FORMAT."
- Press ENTER twice.
