GX-700: How to Perform a Factory Reset (Restore Default Settings)

The following procedure can be used to clear the internal memory and reload the factory settings in the GX-700:

CAUTION: All USER information will be lost. Be sure to back up any information you wish to keep.

1. Press TUNER/UTILITY.
2. Press the PARAMETER left or right button to select FACT INIT [WRITE].
3. Press PARAMETER left or right to move the cursor to the lower left of the display.
4. Turn the NUMBER/VALUE dial to select "SYSTEM."
5. Press PARAMETER right once.
6. Turn the VALUE dial to select P#100.
7. Press WRITE.
   When the reset procedure is finished, press PLAY to return to the main menu.
