Track Erase allows you to erase a specific part of an audio track. Use the following steps to erase a portion of an audio track:
1. Press UTILITY.
2. Use the CURSOR buttons to select "TRK" and press ENTER.
3. Use the CURSOR buttons to select "ERS" and press ENTER.
4. Turn the TIME/VALUE dial to select "TME/MES" and press ENTER.
5. Use the CURSOR buttons and the TIME/VALUE dial to select the track and v.track that you would like to erase a section from.
6. Use the CURSOR buttons and the TIME/VALUE dial to specify the beginning portion ("S") of the data you want to erase.
7. Use the CURSOR buttons and the TIME/VALUE dial to specify the end portion ("E") of the data you want to erase.
8. Press ENTER. The erase is executed.
9. Press EXIT repeatedly to return to the main screen.
NOTE: Any audio that exists on a track, before or after the track erase section, will be unaffected and will not be moved.
