Songs created within the Juno-G are not audio; they're a special sort of MIDI file that your computer cannot accurately recreate.
There are two ways to get the sound of your Juno-G song into a computer for burning or uploading to the web:
THE EASY WAY (RECORDING STRAIGHT INTO THE COMPUTER)
1. Connect the A MIX (L&R) 1/4" outputs from the Juno-G to the audio input of your computer. Ideally, you'll want to use a dedicated audio interface, but most computers include an 1/8" stereo input.
2. Record the sound of the Juno-G to an audio track within some sort of audio recording software. Most Macs include GarageBand and PCs can use free software such as Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/).
THE BETTER WAY (BOUNCING INTERNALLY AND LOADING VIA USB)
IMPORTANT: The Juno-G comes stock with 4MB of RAM and storage. This allows you to record 20 seconds of stereo audio. To capture full songs, you must expand the Juno-G's RAM and storage.
1. Load your song.
2. Press AUDIO TRACK.
3. Hold SHIFT and press F4 (MIXDOWN).
4. Press F6 (START).
5. When the song has finished, press AUDIO.
6. Press WRITE.
7. Press F3 (SAMPLE) and follow the prompts to save your sample to either the internal storage or PC card.
8. Attach the Juno-G to your computer via USB. Make sure Windows Media Player is NOT open.
9. Press USB.
10. Press F4 (INTERNL) or F5 (PC CARD) to access the Juno-G's storage from your computer. On a PC, the Juno-G drive will appear within "My Computer". On a Mac, the Juno-G drive will appear on the desktop.
11. Double-click the Juno-G drive.
12. Double-click the ROLAND folder.
13. Double-click the SMPL folder.
14. Drag the audio file from the folder to your desktop.
15. Eject the Juno-G's drive from your computer. On a PC, right-click the Juno-G drive and select "Eject". On a Mac, drag the Juno-G drive to the trash.
