A file that has been recorded at a lower level can maximized so that the loudest part of the file can be brought up to the loudest point audio can be turned up before distortion. As a result, the overall recording will also be made louder. The process is called normalization. To normalize an audio file use the following procedure;
1) Press the CD CARD button.
2) CURSOR to CD CARD Normalize?
3) Press ENTER two times.
Note-The process will take almost 1 and a 1/2 times as long as the length of the file. Be sure to not unplug or turn off the CD-2e while it is processing as it could corrupt the file.
