The following procedure may be used if the PW-10 is still not functioning after performing the factory reset procedure that's available on the back panel (or in this Help Desk.) Use the following steps to Initialize and Calibrate the PW-10:
CAUTION: All USER created data will be lost.
1. Turn OFF the PW-10. (If using batteries, unplug the guitar cable from the PW-10's input / If using the PSA-120 power supply, disconnect it from the DC inlet.)
2. Turn ALL knobs (TYPE/WAH RANGE/DRIVE) fully counter clockwise.
3. Confirm that the PW-10's pedal is in the "heel back" position.
4. Power on while holding the MANUAL/MEMORY button (The memory indicator will blink.)
5. While the memory indicator is blinking, press MANUAL/MEMORY twice (The memory indicator will turn green momentarily, followed by yellow, then the ON/OFF indicator will light.
6. Turn the WAH RANGE knob fully clockwise.
7. Turn the DRIVE knob fully clockwise.
8. Press the MANUAL/MEMORY button once (Both the ON/OFF light and the memory indicator will go out).
9. Without engaging the "toe switch," depress the pedal all the way to the "toe forward" position.
10. Press the MANUAL/MEMORY button once (The memory indicator will light up red).
11. Without engaging the "heel switch," depress the pedal all the way to the "heel back" position.
12. Press the MANUAL/MEMORY button once (The memory indicator will light up green).
13. Depress the pedal all the way to the "toe forward" position with moderate force to engage the "toe switch." (The memory indicator will turn yellow).
14. Depress the pedal all the way to the "heel back" position with moderate force to engage the "heel switch."
(The memory indicator will flash momentarily)
THE RESET IS NOW BEING PERFORMED. DO NOT TURN THE POWER OFF AT THIS TIME.
When the reset is completed, the memory indicator will turn yellow and the ON/OFF indicator will be red.
15. Turn off the power for 10 seconds, and then back on. Test the PW-10. If the PW-10 does not operate correctly, contact an authorized Roland service center.

11. Without engaging the "heel switch," depress the pedal all the way to the "heel back" position.
12. Press the MANUAL/MEMORY button once (The memory indicator will light up green).
13. Depress the pedal all the way to the "toe forward" position with moderate force to engage the "toe switch." (The memory indicator will turn yellow).
14. Depress the pedal all the way to the "heel back" position with moderate force to engage the "heel switch."
(The memory indicator will flash momentarily)
