CDX-1: How do I format a CD-RW for recording?

1) Place a blank "High Speed" CD-RW into the drive.
2) At prompt "This is a blank disk. Do you want to format?" Press YES/ENTER.
3) Use the TIME/VALUE wheel to change the 'Format Type' from 'Standard' to 'FULL'
4) Press YES/ENTER
5) CURSOR to OK
6) Press YES/ENTER


If you not see the Prompt when you insert a blank disk or if you want to format a disk that has been previously formatted then use the following procedure to format a disk:

1) Press UTILITY
2) CURSOR to "DISC"
3) Press YES/ENTER
4) CURSOR to "FORMAT"
5) Press ENTER/YES
6) Highlight "Format Type"
7) Use the TIME/VALUE wheel to select "FULL"
8) Press YES/ENTER
9) CURSOR to OK
10)Press YES/ENTER
