FP-3: Changing The Pedal Functions

Use the following procedure to change the FP-3 pedal functions:

1. Hold down the SONG button and press the E.PIANO button so that the indicators for the SONG and E.PIANO buttons flash in red.
2. Press the [-] or [+] buttons to select the desired pedal function.
   NOTE: Your choices are:
   1 = Soft Pedal
   2 = Sostenuto Pedal
   3 = Expression Pedal
   4 = Start/Stop Pedal
3. Press the SONG button to return to the normal keyboard mode.

Please use Roland pedal switches (DP series). If you use a sustain pedal provided by third-party manufacturers with different polarity, the pedal behavior will be reversed. The FP-3 does not have the capability to switch the pedal polarity.
