Performing a factory reset will restore all TD-20 settings to their original factory defaults.
Note: All data and settings stored in the TD-20 are lost in carrying out this operation. So if necessary, save your
data to a memory card or an external MIDI device before executing the factory reset. See "Saving Data to a Memory Card" and "Saving Data to an external MIDI Device (Bulk Dump)" in the TD-20 Owner's Manual.
- Press [SETUP] - [F5 (F RESET)].
[SETUP] lights, and the “FACTORY RESET” screen appears. - Press [F5 (RESET)].
The confirmation screen appears. - Press [F5 (EXECUTE)] to execute Factory Reset.
When Factory Reset is finished, the following screen appears. - Press [F5 (ADJUST)].
The “VH OFFSET ADJUSTMENT” screen appears. - Loosen the clutch of the top hi-hat and let it sit on the bottom hi-hat.
Important: Do NOT touch the hi-hats or the pedal. - Press [F5 (EXECUTE)].
The VH Offset parameter is set automatically.
When finished, the “DRUM KIT” screen appears.
