GR-55: How do I restore the factory settings? (Factory Reset)

Restoring the GR-55’s settings to their original factory default settings is referred to as “Factory Reset.”

Caution: All User information is lost during a Factory Reset. Be sure to first back up anything you wish to keep before proceeding. See "Saving GR-55 Settings to USB Memory (BACKUP)" in the GR-55 Owner's Manual.

1. Press the [EDIT] button to access the EDIT screen.
2. Use the PAGE [◀] [▶] buttons to select the SYSTEM tab.
3. Use the cursor [◀] [▶] buttons to select the BACKUP/INIT icon, and press the [ENTER] button.
4. Use the cursor [◀] [▶] buttons to select the FACTORY RESET icon, and press the [ENTER] button.
5. Use the cursor [◀] [▶] buttons to select “OK,” and press the [ENTER] button.
   The factory reset will be executed.
   Never turn off the power while the factory reset is being carried out.
6. When the following screen appears, turn off the power.
