The following procedure can be used to clear the internal memory and reload the factory settings in the DR-880.
CAUTION: All USER information will be lost. Be sure to back up any information you wish to keep.
- With playback stopped, press [EDIT].
The edit menu screen appears. - Move the cursor to the “FACTORY RESET” icon and press [ENTER].
The display will ask “Factory reset?” If you’re sure you want to execute Factory Reset, press [ENTER].
If you decide to cancel without executing, press [EXIT].The message “Now writing...” will appear, and factory reset will be executed.
When factory reset have been completed, the message will disappear.* Do not turn off the power while the message is displayed. Your data may be damaged if you do so.
