The BR-1600 and BR-1200 are able to burn a multi-song project (recorded as 1 song) to CD with separate CD tracks. This is useful if there were multiple songs recorded as one long recording and you want to burn a CD with each song separated.
Placing CD markers and then burning a CD:
- Cue up the location of where you would like to place the first CD marker (i.e. where CD Track 1 will begin). If this will be the very beginning of the recording, simply press the ZERO button.
- Hold the TAP button and, while still holding this button, press MARK to place a CD track marker.
A marker is set at that location and a "T" appears in the marker name area on the main display. - Repeat steps 1 and 2 at all the locations where you want CD tracks to be created.
NOTE: You cannot set a new marker within 100 milliseconds before or after an existing marker. In such instances, first clear the existing marker, then carry out step 1 to place the new marker. - Follow the Disc At Once By Marker procedure found in the owner's manual to burn a CD.
