GR-55: How Do I Send MIDI Notes from MIDI OUT or the USB (MIDI) Port?

You can send MIDI notes from the Roland GR-55's MIDI OUT connector or USB (MIDI) port by turning on GTR-MIDI SWITCH.

Note: When connecting to a computer, use a USB cable that supports data transfer (not a charge-only cable).

To turn it on:

1. Press [EDIT].
2. Use the PAGE buttons to select the SYSTEM tab.
3. Use the cursor buttons to select the MIDI/USB icon, then press [ENTER].
4. Use the PAGE buttons to select the GTR-MIDI tab.
5. Use the cursor buttons to select SWITCH.
6. Turn the dial to set it to ON.
7. Press [EXIT]. The GR-55 saves system settings automatically.
