The default settings of the TD-8 are optimized for use with the Roland V-CUSTOM SET and V-PRO SET. If you are using a different pad setup, you will need to select an appropriate trigger type for each input. These settings are necessary to optimize the tracking for each pad. The trigger type settings for each input can be stored in one of four trigger bank locations, allowing quick access to multiple configurations.
Use the following procedure to select the trigger type settings:
1. Press SETUP, and then F1 [TRIG].
2. Cursor to BANK and turn the VALUE dial to select the bank number.
3. Cursor to the pad number and turn the VALUE dial to select the trigger type.
