Dedicated high-speed hard drive for audio data
(7200RPM or faster)
Transfer rate = 3 MB per second or greater
Access time = 10ms or less
Sufficient capacity
(approx. 7.5MB per track minute @ 24-bit / 44.1kHz)
Audio drive can be internal ATA 100 or Ultra2 SCSI, or external Firewire with Oxford 911 chipset
