FP-7: Saving A Song Into Memory

Use the following procedure to save a song into memory:

1. Press FUNCTION so it is flashing.

2. Press the TRACK 1 / PART button so FUNCTION and TRACK 1 are flashing. The SONG FILE menu appears.

3. If needed, hold DISPLAY and use the + / - buttons to select "SAVE."

4. Press DISPLAY to show the "SAVE SONG" menu.

5. To name your song, hold DISPLAY and use the + / - buttons to select character you want to change.

6. Release DISPLAY and use the + / - buttons to change the character.

7. To select a storage media, hold DISPLAY and use the + / - buttons to select "MEDIA."

8. Use the + / - buttons to select "INTERNAL" or "EXTERNAL."

NOTE: EXTERNAL will be an option only if a USB memory device is inserted into the USB port.

9. Press REC to save the song.
