HP505 Splitting the Keyboard

Use the following procedure to split the HP505 keyboard so you can play one instrument with your right hand and a different instrument with your left hand:

1. While holding down the TRANSPOSE button, press the TWIN PIANO button.
   NOTE: "SPLIT" will appear in the display.
2. To change the right hand tone, press a tone button to select a tone group and use the - / + buttons to select a tone.
3. To change the left hand tone, while holding down the Transpose button and the Twin Piano button, press a tone button to select a tone group and (while still holding the Transpose and Twin Piano buttons) use the - / + buttons to select a tone.
4. To change the split point, hold down the Transpose button and Twin Piano button, and then play the note where you want the split point to be.
