Incoming audio in the R-26 can also be recorded via USB into software on your computer. To select an input source for the Audio Interface and Loop Back functions of the R-26:
- Press MENU.
- Select "AUDIO I/F".
- Select "INPUT DEVICE".
- Select the input that you would like to use:
INTERNAL: Selects the internal mics (a mix of the directional internal mics and the omnidirectional internal mics).
ANALOG: Selects the input from the ANALOG IN 1/L jack and ANALOG IN 2/R jack. Recording will take place in stereo.
ANALOG (MONO): Selects the input from the ANALOG IN 1/L jack and ANALOG IN 2/R jack. Two mono channels will be recorded.
PLUG-IN: Selects the input from the PLUG IN MIC jack.
NOTE: The R-26 can send a mono or a stereo signal via USB to a computer only. Because of this, only one source can be selected at a time and sources cannot be combined (i.e. INTERNAL and ANALOG can't be sent to the computer simultaneously).
