You can restore the factory settings of the V-Piano by performing a factory reset.
CAUTION: All USER information will be lost!!! Be sure to back up any information you wish to keep.
NOTE: Never turn off the power during a Factory Reset. This may result in corrupted internal data and may prevent the power from being turned on again.
- From the Tone screen, press the [FUNCTION] button to turn Function on.
- Press the [F4 (UTILITY)] button.
- Use the [F3 (▲)] or [F4 (▼)] buttons, or the [VALUE] dial to select to select "Initialize", then press the [F1 (ENTER)] button.
- Turn the [VALUE] dial to select “Factory Reset All,” and then press the [ENTER] button or the [F1 (ENTER)] button.
A confirmation message appears. To execute the factory reset, press the [F4 (EXECUTE)] button.

To execute the factory reset, press the [F4 (OK)] button.
The message “Executing... Don’t Power OFF” is shown while the factory reset is being executed. Never turn off the power during this time.If you decide to cancel without executing, press the [F1 (CANCEL)] button or the [EXIT] button.
- When the factory reset is finished, the screen will indicate “Power off, then on.” Turn the V-Piano’s power off, and then on again.
