In addition to controlling the BK-7m Arranger section, a connected MIDI keyboard can also trigger the BK-7m internal Tone Parts. Depending on your particular set up, you may need to enable or disable the sustain (hold) pedal as it applies to each Tone Part.
1. Press MENU so it is lit.
2. Use the VALUE DIAL to select "Performance Edit" and press the VALUE DIAL to enter.
3. Use the VALUE DIAL to select "Tone Part View" and press the VALUE DIAL to enter.
4. Use the VALUE DIAL to select "Tone Part" and press the VALUE DIAL to enter.
5. Use the VALUE DIAL to select the Tone Part that you wish to edit and press the VALUE DIAL to enter.
NOTE:
UP1 and UP2 are the two "main" parts that would normally be controlled by the right side of a split.
LWR is the part that is normally controlled by the left side of a split.
MBS is the manual bass part that is normally controlled by the left side of a split
6. Use the VALUE DIAL to select "Hold Pedal" and press the VALUE DIAL to enter.
7. Use the VALUE DIAL to set the Hold Pedal setting for the selected Part and press the VALUE DIAL to enter.
NOTE: If you wish to save your setting, be sure to WRITE it to a PERFORMANCE memory.
8. Press EXIT several times to return to the main menu.
