The following article will guide you through erasing a portion of audio on a track. This is useful if you would like to remove unwanted audio (e.g. applause, silence, noise, etc) within a recording.
Note: The Track Erase function is a feature available with Version 1.10 or later. If you need to update the BR-800's operating version, you may download the update here:
ERASING TRACK DATA
This operation erases data from the specified region.
- Press the [TRACK] button.
- Use the CURSOR buttons to move the cursor to “TRACK EDIT” and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the CURSOR buttons to move the cursor to “ERASE” and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the CURSOR and data dial to make the appropriate settings for performing the Track Erase.
- Press the [ENTER] button twice. The data will be erased.
- Press the [EXIT] button a number of times to return to the play screen.
