The INTEGRA-7 can connect to an Apple iPad (r) via Wi-Fi for a wireless connection. There are 3 different adapters sold by Roland that can be used for this:

WNA-1 (current model)
- WNA-150 (older model)
- WNA-1100RL (older model)
Any of these can be used to make the connection, but the WNA-1 does require updating the INTEGRA-7 to version 1.21 or higher. Use the following procedure to set up this connection using the "Ad-Hoc" mode:
Wireless settings in the INTEGRA-7
- Press MENU.
- CURSOR to "WIRELESS" and press ENTER.
- CURSOR to "OPTIONS" and press ENTER.
- CURSOR to "Ad-Hoc Mode" and use the Value Dial to select "ON."
- Press EXIT
- Verify the following settings:
- Status is set to "AD-HOC MODE"
- Ad-Hoc SSID is set to "INTEGRA-7"
- Ad-Hoc Key is set to "xxxxx" (this is set differently for each INTEGRA-7)
Connect to the iPad
- Start up the iPad and select the "Settings" icon.
- Select "Wi-Fi."
- Under "Choose a Network," select "INTEGRA-7." A password box will pop up - enter the 5-digit number from the INTEGRA-7 (Ad-Hoc key), then touch "Join."
The iPad is now connected wirelessly to the INTEGRA-7.
Setting Up the INTEGRA-7 Editor
- Start the INTEGRA-7 Editor
- Touch the gears icon in the upper right hand corner of the application to open the settings window.
- Set the "Mode Select" switch to "Normal."
- Touch the "MIDI Devices >" button and select INTEGRA-7.
You should now be able to use the editor to control the INTEGRA-7. You should first press the "READ" button in the upper right hand corner of the editor to have it connect to the INTEGRA-7 and load all of the current Studio Set information into the editor.
"Connection Error"
If you get an error on your iOS device when attempting to connect to the INTEGRA-7, you need to check the "USB-MIDI Thru" setting and make sure it is set to "OFF."
- Press MENU.
- CURSOR to "SYSTEM" and press ENTER.
- CURSOR to the MIDI tab at the top of the screen.
- CURSOR to "MIDI-USB Thru" and use the Value Dial to select "OFF."
- Press EXIT twice.
