The BR-80’s MTR mode allows you to import audio files from the eBand mode. This is useful if you would like to record additional tracks (e.g. Vocals, Guitar, etc) to an existing audio file from eBand mode. The following article will guide you through the proper steps to do this:
I. Selecting an eBand File to Import:
- Press the power button a number of times until the eBand indicator is lit.
- Press the TR1/2 button to enter the Song List.
- Use the dial to select a song folder and then press the ENTER button.
- Use the dial to select a song that you would like to import into MTR mode and then press the ENTER button.
- Press PLAY to verify that you have selected the correct song file.
- Press STOP to stop playback.
II. Importing the eBand File into MTR Mode:
- Press the power button until MTR mode is selected.
- Press the MENU button.
- Cursor to "SONG" and then press ENTER.
- Cursor to "NEW" and then press ENTER three times. A new song will be created.
- Press the MENU button.
- Cursor to “TRACK EDIT” and then press ENTER.
- Cursor to WAV IMPORT and then press ENTER.
- Turn the data dial to select “eBand CURRENT SONG” in the “SOURCE” section.
- Cursor down to the “DEST” section and then turn the data dial to select the destination track of the WAV import. For example: “TR12 – V1” will import the WAV file into Tracks 1 and 2 Virtual Track 1.
- Press ENTER three times. The WAV file will be imported into the track(s) that you set in “DEST”.
