The BR-80 procedure for transferring recordings to a computer will depend on the mode that the recordings reside on (i.e. MTR, eBand or LIVE REC mode). The following article will guide through the steps to get recordings as audio files onto a computer in each mode.
USB MODE SETTING
The BR-80's USB mode will first need to be set to STORAGE:

Press the MENU button.

Cursor to "Function" and then press ENTER.

Cursor to "USB" and then press ENTER.

Use the dial to specify "STORAGE" and then press ENTER.
A message will appear: "Please restart to change the USB mode." -
Press ENTER.

Power off the BR-80 and then turn the power back on.
The BR-80 is now ready to be synced with the eBand software.

If recorded in LIVE REC mode:
- Connect the BR-80 to a computer. A window will appear showing the contents of the BR-80's memory.
- Open the ROLAND folder and then open the LIVEREC folder. Recordings will appear on the screen as files.
- Drag the file(s) in the LIVEREC folder to a desired location on the computer (e.g. the Desktop).
